After moving to Jupiter, Florida, Joe starting turning bamboo into handcrafted, stunning artwork for himself and many others to give as gifts. JupBamboo was established
Joe is originally from Brooklyn, NY. He lived most of his life in Suffolk County, Long Island. As a kid, Joe loved being an artist and loved to draw and create artistic things.
Joe is happily married, and a proud father of 3 children.
In 2002 on his honeymoon in Jamaica, he was fascinated with bamboo art.
After moving in 2014 to Jupiter, Florida (that's where the name "Jup" comes from)...Joe noticed there was an abundant amount of bamboo growing all around him. He started making bamboo mugs which led to bamboo silhouettes lamps and more.
Since starting JupBamboo, Joe could not keep up with the high demand for his bamboo art. Therefore, most of his bamboo art and lamps are a pre-order status, with specialty pieces on waitlist.
Joe's favorite artistic pieces come from those who have a unique vision and he is able to make it come to life through his artwork.
